The COFRA Holding AG, of Switzerland, is an international family company active in retail, real estate, financial services, renewable energies and corporate investments. COFRA generously donates to charity and has established the COFRA Foundation. The COFRA Foundation is a long-standing supporterof ORBIS having funded a rural eye care project in Bangladesh.

This four year project will develop three rural eye hospitals, each with two vision centres in underserved districts in Bangladesh. Partnering with Islamia Eye Hospital in Dhaka, this project will bring sustainable eye care services to areas which previously had none.  This achievement could only be accomplished through the corporate support of COFRA.
