My activity
The Airbus A300F simulator will take part in World Flight 2009. This is the sixth year the simulator has taken part in the event, joining the Australian World Flight team in Sydney to depart on a world tour of 45 flights flown online using the Vatsim network. On each flight there will be a crew of three, a simulator instructor, a pilot and a copilot. The simulator will be operational for seven days involving numerous challenging destinations. See www.airbusa300sim.co.uk. The simulator is operated by enthusiasts in support of the ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital. Manufactured from aircraft parts and produced with the support of a number of aviation companies, our aim is to provide a fun environment where people of all ages can come and experience what it would be like to fly an Airbus A300 Freighter while supporting a worthwhile cause.

Why I support ORBIS
We support ORBIS because they do an incredible job. To give someone their sight is wonderful, but to give a community the skills eradicate unnecessary blindness is amazing.
