Since 2000, ACS International School has partnered with ORBIS to promote international education and global citizenship among its students.  Every year, high achieving students from ACS go through a rigorous selection process in order to compete for three internships that allow students take part in an ORBIS programme overseas. 

The internships gives students the opportunity to fully understand and participate in the work of an international NGO both in the field and in the London office. The students learn about important issues facing communities in the developing world and witness firsthand ORBIS's work tackling avoidable blindness worldwide and the importance of blindness prevention in alleviating poverty.
