VIP tour - DIA, Qatar Airways, UK, US & South African Ambassadors

Building strong, long-lasting partnerships in Qatar & to raise awareness around preventable blindness, ORBIS hosted over four days of invited-tours, welcoming hosting VIP guests from the government, as well as medical, charitable, corporate and educational communities, such as the students and staff from long-time ORBIS supporter ACS International School Doha.

Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said: “Doha International Airport is delighted to host the ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital. Their work is highly commendable helping give those with visual difficulties the chance to save and restore their eyesight.

“We will continue working in partnership with ORBIS to help generate exposure for its work and charitable efforts.”
