ORBIS is taking a group to Addis Ababa to take part in the GREAT ETHIOPIAN RUN - a high altitude mass participation run. On November 24th 2013 over 36,000 people will take to the streets to participate in Africa’s biggest road race – a challenging 10km of 2500 m above sea level. Join the international ORBIS team of over 60 runners and some of the world’s most renowned athletes, there’s a huge variety of runners of all age groups and fitness levels taking part.
You will be looked after every step of the way and along with the run itself you will experience life in Ethiopia.
As an ORBIS team member you will receive hotel accommodation, event travel and entry into the Great Ethiopian Run. Once in Ethiopia we will provide cultural experiences including a visit to Entoto Mountian and a tour of our paediatric eye care centre in Addis Ababa.
*Please note that you may remain in Ethiopia after the race, however as ORBIS will be organising return flights you should liaise with our office to reschedule your travel dates. If you do extend your stay, you will be responsible for your own accommodation over that period.
